    Welcome

    Posted in News by Lucy

Welcome to the new website and blog.  It’s been a labor of love for the last several months for me and our marketing team and we’re excited to see its debut.

The new site offers better navigability, a new store locator system and links to Lucy’s on Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and YouTube.  We’ve kept our extensive food allergy and celiac resource sections for those who might want to use them.  And my favorite new feature—this blog—will allow me to stay directly connected to you, our supporters.

In the coming months we’ll partner with National Foundation for Celiac Awareness (NFCA) and Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN) to raise awareness and support the educational efforts of these groups through some fun, creative contests and events.

Plus, I’ll blog about a host of topics that I hope you’ll find helpful in your daily quest of living well.  Upcoming topics will include…

    • Food Allergies
    • Gluten Intolerance
    • Avoiding trans fat and cholesterol
    • Oats
    • Calories!
    • Living conveniently while eating carefully
    • Food Safety
    • How kids and adults adapt to special diets
    • Recipes for a new diet
    • Cooking at home with new ingredients
    • Eating out while staying healthy
    • Grocery shopping for unique items

I want to know what you’re interested in too so send your questions and topic suggestions.

For now, welcome to the blog and to our new website.

Thank for you much for these snacks! At age 23, I finally had my first chocolate chip cookie and loved it! I have never been able to eat chocolate and many cookies and snacks are off my consumption list. So once again, thank you and I hope my nearest health food stores start stocking up on your products :)

Most of the processed gluten free food that I have tried has an overly grainy texture and usually doesn’t taste good. I just tried Lucy’s sugar cookies and they are delicious. Thank you for making these cookies.

We just discovered your cookies and my daughter who has celiac and diabetes loves them. Thank you. One suggestion- because she is diabetic she has to count carbs and the small bags sold at Starbucks have a serving size of 1.3-making it very difficult for even a very smart nine year old to figure out the amount of carbs in a bag- could you change the serving size to one bag and adjust the nutritional info appropriately thanks!
