Hello, Fall!

Fall is one of my favorite seasons. The crisp, cool air and the changing leaves always bring a little extra cheer to my day. Despite the days getting shorter, Fall is a very fun time of year for adults and children alike. Here are some of my favorite things about this time of year:

Enjoying a warm cup of coffee on a chilly morning

Decorating for Fall – festive pumpkins, gourds, orange & yellow leaves!

The harvest season – perfect time for recipes using root vegetables

The smell of fresh, cool air

Football season – high school, college, professional – it’s all fun!

Fall fashion – sweaters, boots, rich colored fabrics

Preparing for Halloween with the kids

Spending time with family and friends

Planting seasonal flowers in the garden

Picking apples at a local orchard

Sitting around a bonfire with family on a brisk evening

The nice, pleasant weather!
